Bob Gibson of the Charlottesville Daily Progress joins Coy Barefoot on the eve of election day to talk about the end of the campaign. Gibson says he’s looking forward to the end of political ads on television.
“The race is so close that the national parties and their senatorial committees are throwing million dollars at TV screens in Virginia,” says Gibson on the November 6th edition of WINA’s Charlottesville–Right Now. “And what do they have to put up? Trash!”
Gibson and Coy talk about why political observers across the nation are watching the race between George Allen and Jim Webb, as well as Ballot Question #1 and the Virgil Goode/Al Weed race for the 5th Congressional District.
