On this week’s edition of the Sunday Morning Wake-Up Call with Rick Moore, David Izakowitz, an attorney with McGuire-Woods, and Libby Whitley with Mid-Atlantic Solutions discuss the topic of immigration in the US. Some of the topics covered were border security, so-called “chain immigration,” and the different ways to get green cards. There are currently about 12 million immigrants in the United States without citizenship – what would happen to our lives if they were forced to leave? To our economy?
Rick opens the show with a monologue about dealing with loss.

I suggest you stop listening to the show and crawl back into the hell from which you came. You are what is wrong with America. I am guessing your work ethic sucks like all the rest of the wellfare draining Americans. We all have a big lesson to learn from the hardworking people who come to this country with a drive to participate. The people we should deport are our own lazy, entitled citizens who suck the system dry and overpopulate our country. I sure hope you are neutered. My guess is that no one would touch you with a ten foot pole, anyway.
And, I have to say that to call Rick stupid is like telling you that your opinion matters. So untrue.
The thing is – I think everyone opinion matters – as long as they can learn to mention it in a civilized manner. In every trollish post such as the above, there’s a point of view waiting to express itself in a decent manner. The question is, trolls tend to want to derail the process of discussion, which is incredibly frustrating.
