NYC indie band White Rabbits stopped by The Corner Lounge before a performance at Fry’s Spring Beach Club in Charlottesville. The Hackensaw Boys were Anne Williams’ guests this morning on Acoustic Sunrise. They are playing the grand opening of The Hat Factory in Richmond tonight, opening for The BoDeans. Franz Nicolay from The Hold Steady took the reins on Late for Work with Tad Abbey this morning. Franz is currently touring the east coast, playing material from his release “Major General” and is trying out some new material. Franz had an hour to play whatever he wanted. He also chatted with Tad about his tour, his inspirations and his many bands.
Our guest during Acoustic Sunrise with Anne Williams was the Philly-based band Good Old War. The guys stopped by to play a few songs and chat about their appearance at The Exponential Festival.

Two of the guys from Sons of Bill came into our studio today during Late for Work with Tad Abbey to play some songs from their new album ‘One Town Away’. Sons of Bill just played Bonnaroo and came back into town to kick-start a new tour tomorrow night at The Paramount Theatre, which will also serve as the official CD release party.
