Dr. Grimes expertise is desegregation and education policy. Also, documentary filmmaker Lorenzo Dickerson, whose work focuses on African American issues from an historical perspective. His latest film is Albemarle’s Black Classrooms. Also, Kibiriti Majuto, a high school student and activist who’s a refugee from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and award-winning author, humor essayist Deborah Prum.
