You can now remove the “interim” from his title, as the Charlottesville City Council announced Friday morning that Mr. Jones has been officially named the new City Manager. Formal approval of the appointment will take place in a special session Monday morning, and in today’s conversation the man of the hour explains the entire process- from interviewing for the position to what issues sit at the forefront of his agenda.
